'American Diamond-like' THOUGHTS for human (e)-kind

(Kindly ignore the last Para in the first blog dated September 11,2010, for the time being)

My heartfelt THANKS to all those Lovely Hearts and Pure Minds, across geographies, who wrote in their own language, all so beautifully, shared their GENUINE Happiness, while sending their WISHES to me for OUR first blog. That’s the much needed ENERGY drink for me to read, think, listen and evolve cycle in writing. Together with you, the patient reader. I SAY THANK YOU. ALMIGHTY BE with YOU.

Last week has been awesome. Today was simply splendid, wrote for 12 hours non-stop, material enough for four to five blogs. Was tempted to share all that. And that ‘Monkey-like’ mind, of my yesteryears, didn’t succeed today.

Brethren, am now going to share THREE powerful diamonds. For best results, so that ‘YOU also get don’t miss the ‘juice’ for its “taste”, SUGGEST avoid browsing and enjoy, when you have the FREEDOM to yourselves from TIME.

NOW, let’s Look at HOW and WHO - Gave me / Has Given Us these Diamonds – ‘a-la-American Diamonds’, to be precise!

Our second daughter, a bundle of joy, then and now, used to happily show us her creativity from her 2^nd year - Be it Scribbling liberally in blank sheets OR bed-sheets, multiple note-books, sometimes the sheet having just one line drawn! To the ‘Walls of our modest bedroom’, simply put, there were riot of colors! If some of you who may be tempted to ask, “Ravi, How can I allow kid or anyone, including myself, to damage walls?” “It Costs money, honey”. Read on and enjoy…

In the case of second daughter who merrily painted walls, her RIGHT brain is HIGHLY CREATIIVE and benevolent as well, I/We are stunned to find NOW! In academics, the best part is NOT her doing well consistently over the years till now, including, securing an International Maths Olympiad-top 100 ranking. NOW comes the MOST BEAUTIFUL part.

“Her friends in school, some with learning disabilities as well, thanks to her coaching, online or offline, have seen marked improvements, over the years”. What is your FEELING reading this? Tell yourself, share if you WANT. Can some astute mathematician or an Engineer / Lawyer / Architect combo Calculate the ENERGY levels received / given, from each of these lovely kids, to each other, without any NUMBERS or “templates”!!!

Inference to me

The inference she gave that time when SHE was a toddler, with her behavior, was, “Restless Dad, Let the walls get beautified with MY PAINTING” (Read Creative, RIGHT brain activity). “If you don’t like it tomorrow, it can be covered by PASTING my art works over these scribbling!”

1^st American Diamond-like Thought

Let’s DO WHAT WE LIKE, Let’s THEN LIKE WHAT WE DO, LATER ‘LIVE’ WHAT WE DO

“Ravi, that was seven years and even before. Now does she do the same? You must have incurred a huge cost painting and re-painting”?

NOW, the same modest bedroom and their room, is more beautiful with her own, some her sister’s - CREATIVE pieces – ‘Mater-pieces’ for me/us. There are ‘paper cuttings’ to ‘words of wisdom’, their ‘rustic art work’, done through pen or pencil, do(es) animation using some software I can’t even fathom, with my limited knowledge. Some are also her poems, ‘nuggets of information’, facts, maps, Flags, her daily plans etc… And her dear Mom’s Photo as well...

I/We care a damn for attending modern-day competitions – However we choose and attend. And thereby Queue, Travel, Prizes, Comparisons, Internal Dialogues…(sic) They are simply SHUT–Instead she prefers the ‘Noisy-but-Silent’ home(ly) atmosphere (in our middle-class existence) to unleash her CREATIVITY. I have a WANT, however to give her a ‘portable STUDIO’, if she WANTS, like their lil’ ‘Keyboard’!

Now, let’s FEEL first the Second Diamond, a by-product of the above experience, Her child-like ACTS also implied:

2^nd American Diamond-like Thought

"Dad, learn to Look into real beauty, in everyone - i.e., Internal Beauty and NOT External Beauty" - Isn’t it precious one wouldn’t like to keep and polish, FOREVER?

NOW, TIME for me to say ‘Thank You Dear Wife’, who TAUGHT me this first. You were/are so understanding with HER understanding, may not be always, with my understanding! Simply implied, with her child-like and with a ‘sense-of-purpose’ behavior, without NUMBERS, COMPARISONS and “TEMPLATES”, our kiddo made us not to bother about the “External beauty” of the walls getting damaged! (Which is temporary?)

Playfully, one day, with my wife and my first daughter, while playing with her, in the language she understands, We asked her “WHO do you like the Most in this world”? (We didn’t ask whether she likes Dad or Mom, Grandma or Grandpa, Aunty or Uncle, Doggie or Cattie!!! – No CONTENT was given!)

After a quick thought, Pat came the answer…. I have to Take a deep-breath NOW… to SHARE…

3^rd American Diamond-like Thought

“I love myself the most Dad”.

I felt heavenly, that day, so LUSH GREEN in my memory.

“Thank you daughter for the ‘THREE AMERICAN DIAMNOND-like THOUGHTS’, YOU gave to us at OUR young-age. Thank you so much. We shall always cherish and share with others”. Thank YOU.

Note: We still cherish that bedroom, we have no issues should SHE again tomorrow - Or her children, the day-after, exhibit CREATVITY, on the WALLS, all over again!
